1. 12 month warranty covers only manufacturer defects/workmanship, and does not include cracks or incidental damages.

2. We do not accept returns with technician damage

3. Parts must be purchased from Mobile Fix NYC

4. If the part is broken in transit, we allow 3 business days to return.  RMA must be made by then.

5. Upon return, parts are to be sent back in “like-new” condition (as feasible).

How do I start a return?

We make the process super easy, all you have to do is head over to our returns page and follow the steps to initiate an RMA. In summary the steps are like this:

1. Start a return through your customer account

2. Choose the order number and item(s) you need to return

3. Specify the reason for the return

4. Submit the return, wait for acceptance on our side

5. Once you get acceptance e-mail, print the packing list and send the item back

6. Once we get the item back, we will inspect it and credit your account

What are the different product lines you offer?

Mobile Fix NYC is proud to offer 3 different product lines so you may find the exact part you need.

Our Product Lines

Standard Line – Unless otherwise stated, all of our products are by default our high quality standard line of goods. When purchasing these goods you can expect great quality but at the best value. For most jobs, the parts sold under this line are suitable and they come with the standard 12 month warranty period. This is the most sold line in our inventory.

Refurb Line – The products on this line are the closest to OEM quality as they come. They contain the most OEM components to manufacture the part and offer the best compatibility with your devices.

Do you charge a restocking fee for return on unused items?

We offer a 30 Day, no questions asked policy on unused non-defective items. That means that you have 30 days from when you order a product to return it back to us for a full refund (minus shipping.) If you’d like to be refunded back to your card or PayPal, mention on the RMA paperwork and it will be processed once your return arrives.

If you would like to return your unused, non-defective product after the 30 day period there will be a 15% restocking fee (The 15% will be deducted off the lesser of the current selling price or original purchased buying price.) Refund amount will be given as store credit which can be used to buy anything at our store. Don’t worry, the credit will never expire.

At this time we don’t accept any returns after the 90 day period, but the warranty will still be valid.

Are OEM actual parts from the manufacturer?

At this moment most, if not all, device manufacturers don’t distribute OEM parts for the repair community, so in most cases they are not 100% OEM. In our industry various terms are used to differentiate quality and price differences, what we are trying to do with the OEM moniker is make is easy for you as the consumer to differentiate what everyone means.

That being said, our OEM parts are the closest you will get to the real thing. They are manufactured using either actual OEM parts or using OEM grade parts (such as the glass.) In other cases sometimes the parts being offered as OEM are pulled from existing devices or are OEM grade products which were available in the global supply chain.

Because the availability of parts like these are limited, price can be higher, but you can trust they are the best parts in the business.
